Nestled in the beautiful, lower St. Croix River Valley, the School District of Somerset offers an extensive variety of learning opportunities for students. Somerset is a true community where all four of our district buildings lie on one campus. This provides opportunities for cross building collaboration between teachers and students.

The School District of Somerset “Exceeds Expectations” on the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s State Report Card and consistently performs well above the state average in all tested areas. We were named an AP District Honor Roll school for expanding opportunity and improving performance for advanced placement students. Additionally, we are the only Wisconsin school district who has a strong partnership with the University of Minnesota, offering several college in the schools courses.

Over 50% of our teachers hold advanced degrees, two of whom are Nationally Board Certified Teachers and two who are Master Educators.
